- To wash, use 1 TBSP of clear, unscented detergent on a cold gentle cycle
- Hang dry or tumble dry low. Slight shrinkage of up to 5% can be expected

Details
Design
Cotton dhurries are classic Indian flatwoven rugs, designed to be lightweight and portable, cold in summer, warm in winter. Stripes are a standard dhurrie design, and ours are no exception. Peeking has a large rust red sun-like circle, shining through stripes.
Collection
The Recess Collection is inspired by wabi-sabi, which holds that nature is uncontrollable. It's a law of nature that something, someday, will spill on your rug. So we designed a collection of machine-washable 100% organic cotton flatweaves, which are both light and durable. We called it Recess because they're made for playing, and it's okay if you make a mess - you won't get in trouble.

Before anything is sketched, our in-house design team starts with the weave. Materials, technique, and style then emerge. When finalized, Studio Revival rugs are sampled extensively until each piece is just right.
Material
Cotton is a natural fiber prized across weaving traditions for its sturdiness and longevity. Lightweight and breathable, it's easy to clean and exceptionally soft underfoot.
